Common Seawater Supply Project (CSSP)
The task of the Common Seawater Supply Project is to transport treated seawater from the Seawater Treatment Facility near Basrah in South Iraq to the several delivery stations in the Majnoon, Missan, Halfayah and Qurna region for further use in the oilfields operated by the different Oil Companies.
The fuel gas supply of the individual facilities is carried out by a new interconnection pipeline between the existing SGC fuel gas pipeline and the Seawater Treatment Facility.
